Privacy

This is a static reference site. It has no accounts, no forms, no analytics, and no third-party embeds, so there is very little to describe. What follows is the whole of it.

Who is responsible

SafeMode Space is operated by Kartia IKE, a private company (Ιδιωτική Κεφαλαιουχική Εταιρεία) registered in Greece. For the purposes of the GDPR, Kartia IKE is the data controller for this site.

What this site collects

Nothing, directly. The public reference is a set of pre-built HTML files. No code belonging to Kartia IKE runs when you request one, nothing you do here is recorded, and there is no database write anywhere in the path between your browser and the page you are reading.

There is no sign-in on this surface, no contact form, no comment field, no newsletter, and no telemetry of any kind. The search box does not send your query anywhere: it downloads a search index file once and matches against it inside your browser.

What the host necessarily sees

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical details a request cannot be answered without, including your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent string. Cloudflare uses these for delivery, caching, and network security, and describes its own handling in its privacy policy and data-processing terms.

There is no analytics product attached to this traffic and no profiling of readers. Under the GDPR the lawful basis for the host's processing is legitimate interest in delivering and securing the service.

Cookies and local storage

None are set. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. The longer version, including how that was verified, is on the cookies page.

Links off this site

Reference pages link out to the source authorities they cite, among them EUR-Lex, ENISA, NIST, MITRE, ESA, and CCSDS. Those are ordinary links: nothing is embedded from them and nothing is requested from them until you choose to follow one. Once you do, that site's own privacy terms apply and this one stops.

Your rights

The GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection over personal data held about you. Kartia IKE holds no personal data about readers of this site, so in practice there is nothing to produce or delete. Should that change, or should a request concern the host's processing rather than this site's, Kartia IKE is the controller to address it to.

You may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your own EU member state. Because the controller is established in Greece, the lead authority is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

Changes

If the site ever gains something that does collect data, such as the planned contribution feature for signed-in users, this page changes before that ships rather than after. This version reflects the build published on 2026-07-25.

Built 2026-07-25 from 216 techniques, 334 regulation articles, 125 ENISA controls, 2,610 framework controls, and 90 countermeasures.
