    Obfuscating GPS ephemeris to conceal activity depends on the mission trusting a single navigation source. A design that survives PNT spoofing carries the cross-checks that make an altered ephemeris visible, so the practice governs the technique without being written against it.

    Timing is the T in PNT, and the practice's recovery obligation covers spoofing of it. Confidence is moderate rather than high because the technique also covers time bases distributed by means other than the navigation signal, such as ground time distribution and crosslink, which the practice does not separately name.
